Nepal and Srilanka ready for the match

There is a mix result for Nepal in the day 1 of the 1st SABA 3×3 Men’s Basketball championship here at Dhaka, Bangladesh. Nepal lost their first match to Srilanka 15 – 17  in the Dhanmondi Indoor Basketball Court at Dhaka. Nepal bounce back in the second match by defeating Maldives 18 – 10 while lost their last match of the day 1 to hosts Bangladesh 18 – 20.

Below are the results of the DAY of the Championship

  • Game #1 Bangladesh 22 – 09 Bhutan
  • Game #2 Nepal 15 – 17 Sri Lanka
  • Game #3 Maldives 14 – 12 Bhutan
  • Game #4 Bangladesh 20 – 09 Sri Lanka
  • Game #5 Nepal 18 – 10 Maldives
  • Game #6 Sri Lanka 21 – 04 Bhutan
  • Game #7 Bangladesh 20 – 18 Nepal

Day of the championship on 16th April 2014 will see the following matches.

  • Game #8 Sri Lanka VS Maldives
  • Game #9 Nepal VS Bhutan
  • Game #10 Bangladesh VS Maldives

South Asian Basketball Association (SABA); a FIBA ASIA affiliate, is the organizer of the first ever 3×3 SABA sub-zonal competition. Five countries, Hosts Bangladesh, Maldives, Nepal, Bhutan and Srilanka are participating in the championship.
