KCM BB Bash, one of the biggest college level basketball tournament is all set for start.

2014 edition of the tournament will be held from 25th April 2014 at the basketball court of the organizing institution Kathmandu College of Management at Gwarko, Lalitpur, Nepal.

This years championships will feature three categories; Boys, Girls and Corporate. 24 teams in boys category, 7 teams in girls cateory and 16 teams in corporate category will be competing for the prestigious title of KCM BB Bash championship.

Team Bangladesh (Champions of 1st SABA 3×3 Championship)

Hosts Bangladesh are crowned the champions of the inaugural edition of South Asian Basketball Association (SABA) 3×3 Men’s Basketball Championship after it defeated Maldives 21 – 7 in their last match of the championship which was held at Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Hosts defeated all the participating countries to lift the championship. They beat Bhutan 22 – 09, Sri Lanka 20 – 09, Nepal 20 – 18 and Maldives 21 – 09 en-route to lifting the first edition of the SABA 3×3 Men’s Basketball Championship.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka won silver and Nepal secured third position in the championship.

After India, Pakistan and Afghanistan pulled out of the championship, five countries of South Asia, Hosts Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives, Bhutan and Sri Lanka battled it out for 3×3 supremacy in the South Asia.
