Premier (girls) and Goldengate (boys) lifted the title of the 3rd edition of the NOBEL CUP 3×3 National U19 Basketball Championship here at Kathmandu, Nepal. In the girls´ category, Premier defeated defending champion Nobel Academy 15-7 riding high on Samichhin Bista’s 9 points. While in the men´s category, GoldenGate thrashed Trinity 21-9 with 9 points from Bishal Tamang.

Nepal Basketball Association president & FIBA ASIA Central Board Member Mr. Lama Tendi Sherpa gave away prizes to the winners and runners up teams.

Thank you Nobel Academy for being title sponsor of the National 3×3 Boy’s and Girls U19 Basketball Championship

Thank you Premier International College, Kathmandu, Nepal for being title sponsor of the 3x3Men’a and and Women’s National Basketball Championship

The decision taken by Nepal Basketball Association (NeBA) to limit the no of teams for the National Basketball Championship is considered as the WISE decision of NeBA to have an competitive National Basketball Championship. NeBA has earlier decided to limit the team to 12 in Men’s and 6 in Women’s in order to make the championship more competitive.

Great / Wise move by NeBA……….

Nepal Basketball Association (NeBA) is organizing the closing ceremony of the Annual NeBA talent hunt program today at Morgan International College. Total of 150 students participated in the talent hunt program. NeBA will provide full academic scholarship for the best 20 players of the talent hint to study Higher Secondary level education in Kathmandu,Nepal.

“Morgan Cup” 11th Women’s and 12th Men’s National Basketball Championship is all set to  from 1st July 2012. NeBA has restricted the no of teams to 12 (Men’s) and 6 (Women’s).

Premier and Golden Gate registered double victories to enter the women’s semi-finals of the third Nobel Cup 3×3 National Basketball Championships

First MSc. Students basketball championship is undergoing in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Day 1 results.

Golden Gate beat National Institute of Science and Technology 46-20 riding on 14 points from Ganesh Katuwal. In other matches, Kathmandu College of Medical Sciences defeated Segon 36-16 with 15 points from Mahesh Pant. Segon also lost to Tri Chandra College 10-5.
